Friendly and knowledge people. They even let our kids "drive" the wagon. Bring cash for all the amish stands you get to stop at during the wagon tour (the welcome center itself takes cards).
The wagon tour was wonderful. We had a group of 19 with people age 4 to 70 and every single one of us enjoyed the tour. The knowledge about the Amish and their customs which our great guide shared with us was impressive. It was also nice to be able to buy treats, jams and other homemade items along the way.
We love shopping for Amish crafts and furniture at this store. The staff is extremely helpful with information and directions.
Nice selection of items, tour guide very knowledgeable. The store itself doesn't sell many Amish-made items. The Amish do that themselves at home. October was the end off their harvest season, so it's a chance to see some of the work being done.
